Physical or mental fatigue?
You may experience fatigue but is it physical or mental fatigue?
With physical fatigue, a good rest, a long soak in the bath and an early night would be beneficial.
However, with mental fatigue the remedy is paradoxically activity! You need to get out of your mind and into your body!
Even when every cell of your body urges you to become a couch potato, override the urges and go for a walk.
Physical rest will exacerbate mental fatigue and can potentially lead to further exhaustion and even depression.
Symptoms may include:
Lack of motivation
A desire to spend all day in bed
Inability to enjoy fun activities
Being overly emotional
Muscle aches and pains
So......get walking, your wellbeing depends on it!
