Sounds good in theory
Understanding that something has to change and actually making those changes, are two different things! For example:
Knowing how to lose weight but struggle to stick to healthy eating.
Knowing a relationship with a person or substance is unhealthy but continuing on regardless.
Knowing that if you address something then it’s resolved but still procrastinating.
Knowing you are attracted to unhealthy behaviour patterns but feel powerless to stop.
And to top it off, you then berate yourself with ‘I should have known’, ‘done something different’, or, ‘stop being so stupid’ and such like.’
Unfortunately this is your reliance on your mindset to bring about change, when actually your body set is in charge of change. Therefore something that is good in theory often stays just that - a theory!
The difference between success and failure is technique. You cannot make a chocolate cake with the ingredients for a cheesecake!
So the good news is that you are not flawed, you’ve just been using a technique that actively resists change.
And believe it or not, harnessing your bodyset, which is the technique I specialise in, will give you your desired results quickly and with minimal effort!!
