YOU ARE NOT WHAT YOU THINK!
YOU ARE WHAT YOU FEEL (and feelings can be changed WITHOUT involving your thoughts!)
If you are feeling stressed, anxious or depressed then your thoughts take on a flavour of self-sabotage and defeatism. BUT THIS IS NOT YOU!
The feelings belong to a debilitating state and are very powerful in convincing you that you are either mad, bad or sad coupled with intrusive thoughts that serve to undermine you.
No wonder so many people ‘think’ that they are their thoughts when that’s the current trend marketed amongst coaches and positive gurus BUT YHEY ARE WRONG!
You are told to think more positive in order to achieve, by affirming how successful you are etc., which focuses on changing your thoughts but this is futile because when you’re in a debilitating state your feelings will win out every time!
Feeling brain first (90% control), thinking brain second (10% control).
Have you noticed that you are your best friend when you feel good but your worst enemy when feeling bad? And your thoughts match with either state, positive or negative? So how can you be your thoughts when your thoughts are on the whole informed by your state?
SO ULTIMATELY, REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE NOT YOUR STATE!
AND EQUALLY YOU ARE NOT YOUR THOUGHTS
